Clare Hammonds
Professor of Practice, UMass Amherst Labor Center
Clare Hammonds is a Professor of Practice at the UMass Amherst Labor Center, where she leads applied research and supports the Center’s labor education programs. Her work focuses on organizing strategy and leadership development across the labor movement. She works with unions, worker organizations, and student groups to deliver training on leadership, organizing skills, coalition building, and strategic planning, with an emphasis on strengthening collective power among low-wage and historically marginalized workers.
